Product Description

This haunting piece of music from the 2nd movement of Beethoven's 7th Symphony has been carefully abridged and arranged for Clarinet Quintet, scored for Eb or Bb Clarinet, 3 Clarinets in Bb and Bass Clarinet. It is sympathetic to the original music and should be easily accessible for intermediate to advanced players. There is also an optional percussion part on Timpani (D and A) that can easily be played on old fashioned hand tuned instruments, and will lend a bit more gravitas to any performance. The piece is very musically satisfying to play and will sit well on any concert or recital programme. The duration of the piece is about 4:50 minutes. The PDF is 26 pages long (A4 portrait) containing a full score and parts. Printing guidance - Score (pages1-13 print A4 double sided), all parts p14-26 (with the exception of Timpani p26) are designed to fit 2 x A4 pages on A3). Look out for other similar works and arrangements by the same publisher.
