Coffee Notes is my first collection of pieces for piano. As I wrote this book I reflected on my time as a late intermediate and early advanced piano student. At that stage in my musical education I was so bored with playing pieces written by white cisgender men who were long dead and was hungry for music written by living composers who were from more diverse communities and backgrounds.

This book was written for the students and teachers looking for more contemporary representation in their repertoire written by composers who live outside the norm and is intended for late intermediate and early advanced students.
