Product Description
A song of struggle between faith and fear as a storm
threatens to engulf all in its path.
Verses of storm are interspersed with verses of calm, as the
loving heart struggles to ease the desperate mind with the notion of there
being no reason to fear, reinforcing the faith that love will hold through blood and tears.
The music and text express this idea with an almost surreal
detachment of the peaceful heart from the surrounding storm during each return of
the verse of calm, amidst the increasing tension in the verses of storm, as if
in temporary respite within the eye of the storm. In such a meditative state,
one can even begin to admire the storm in awe of the beauty of the sheer force
of nature.
It culminates with the eventual defeat of the loving heart
and a resignation to the likely fate to be met by the end of the storm. Yet,
the end is not met with the fear that had threatened to engulf the desperate minds,
but with the final, strongest, statement in faith that love goes on past life on earth.
