Solfeggio, often called Solfeggietto, this well-known piece, published in 1770, is the most famous of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach's keyboard works.
This is a Sextet piece for Piano, 2 Violins, Viola, Cello and Double Bass. It is arranged using Baroque compositional style on orchestration, with personal musical ideas in terms of tones and texture. Piano is original composition while the strings mostly serve as accompaniment yet there are sections show the "Call and Response" between piano and strings. It is great for ensemble playing. Enjoy!
