Product Description

"Jingle Bells" is one of the most recognized winter songs in North America. It was written by James Lord Pierpont (18221893) and published under the title "One Horse Open Sleigh" in the autumn of 1857. This arrangement is in a march style and is great for beginner concert band with no tenor saxophone and rhythm percussion section.  The general range is a concert Bb scale with added low concert A. An optional clarinet 1 part written above the break.

Rehearsal suggestions:  The entire band has the rhythm, "jingle bells" except the bass part which is "bells jingle" in the main melody sections. At rehearsal mark 21 the saxophone part does extend to low Es and Ds, but this can be changed to high Es and Ds to accommodate range. If you do have rhythmic or melodic percussion, snare and bells can play the rhythms and melodies of the flute and bass drum could play the bass guitar rhythms.
