Product Description

Fives is a piano vignette (short, museful composition) written in the fall of 2019 using principles of design. Throughout this piece, I use rhythm, emphasis, and contrast to spotlight the notes E and F by alternating between them exactly five times, followed by a single rest, and then repeating twice as fast and twice as loud with octave displacements. The unevenness of five tosses weight between E and F in a new way with each cycle without losing focus.
