(c) 2019. The first part of this came during a composing residency when I felt hopeless about writing music. It reminded me that I do not write the music, but it comes through me. All but the third section came in about an hour. Months later it seemed to need a happier section so I wrote that. The dynamic marks are optional; playing in a traditional ragtime style is fine.
