Pro*Epimetheus, symphonic metamorphoses for large orchestra, was commissioned by the Halle Opera and premiered on December 5, 1999 at the Georg Friedrich Händel Halle in Halle an der Saale. Other items on the program were Prométhée, Le Poème du feu, op. 60 by Alexander Scriabin and Eine Alpensymphonie, op. 64 by Richard Strauss. The Halle Opera Orchestra played under the direction of GMD Roger Epple.
