Product Description

Humoresque in G Major, Op. 23 was composed for solo piano and is dedicated to my friend, Kayleen Roussin. I didn't intend to publish this piece initially as I was just messing around writing this piece. However, Kayleen reached out to me and offered to buy the piece. Taken aback by this exchange, I felt it was only fitting to publish the piece and dedicate it to my friend, who is easily the biggest supporter of my music. This piece is in Sonata-Allegro form and utilizes two themes: the initial theme on the opening page and another that emerges during the development section. The main preface of this piece is to poke fun at Mozart's tonal style while acknowledging his mastery of form.
