This is the ORIGINAL COMPOSITION of Etude No. 18 for Native American Flute entitled "The Disquiet of Growth" from composer Enoch Chapman. This Etude focuses on the Lower Hand to reinforce the Performers skills.
The focus of this etude is to :
* have the performer continue to get familiar with Partial Covered Notes
* have the performer get familiar with Rhythmic Patterns and Similarities
* have the performer see how diversity of Rhythm can create Tension and Release in music
This piece uses Dotted Half Notes, Half Notes, Dotted Quarter Notes, Quarter Notes, Dotted Eighth Notes, Eighth Notes and Sixteenth Notes to help the performer build their breathing and intonation skills.
This piece introduces Rhythmic Patterns and Variations to increase their musical toolkit.
