This is the ORIGINAL COMPOSITION of Etude No. 14 for Native American Flute entitled "The Old Towne Carousel" from composer Enoch Chapman. This Etude focuses on the Lower Hand to reinforce the Performers skills.
The focus of this etude is to :
* have the performer get familiar with a new Chromatic Note not found in the Pentatonic Scale
* have the performer continue to get familiar with Accidentals and how they work in Music
* have the performer get familiar with Time Signature Changes (3/4 Time Signature to 4/4 Time Signature)
* have the performer get familiar with Tempo Mark changes (i.e. Dotted Half Note = Quarter Note Tempo Change)
This piece uses Whole Notes, Dotted Half Notes, Half Notes, Quarter Notes, Quarter Rests, Eighth Notes and Eighth Rests to help the performer build their breathing and intonation skills.
This piece introduces a new Chromatic Note, Time Signature Changes, and Tempo Mark Changes to increase their musical toolkit.
