Mine Mine Mine was written for the 1995 Disney Animated Film Pocahontas, with music by Alan Menken and Lyrics by Stephen Schwartz. This piece is sung by the villain, John Ratcliffe, as he begins his quest for gold and riches in the new world. There is also a second section featuring the character John Smith, an explorer who is looking for new adventure and beauty in the new world (he eventually becomes the love interest for Pocahontas).

I hope you and your orchestra have fun performing this piece, as it is one of my favorites and has a fun feeling of decadence and villainy in a style that Disney does best!
