Storm, op.3
for symphony orchestra (2222/2221/Timp/S.D./B.D./Strings)
Storm was written around December 2006 and January 2007. I was sitting at home
with nothing to do when I came up with a theme. Soon I elaborated it into a piece
about a storm coming and going.
The whole piece is based on a single theme. The piece starts with a slow section,
signifying the coming of a storm. The storm arrives with pouring rain, loud thunder
and high winds. Eventually the storm subsides, and the sun comes out again.
