Product Description

This piece of music is composed for solo violin. The use of two-fold symmetry and a Fibonacci sequence of numbers create the foundation of this atonal composition. Variations of rhythm are created by constructing a Thue-Morse sequence (0 -> 01, 1 -> 10) of length 16, this sequence is used to define sections of the rhythm structure, where 0 = eighth notes and 1 = sixteenth notes. The difficulty of this piece is classified as: easy to play. Two pages in length and contains 79 bars of notation. The sound is minimalistic and smooth with sections of tension and symmetric reflections on the architecture of tone. Please enjoy playing this composition for solo violin. Sincerely, Gershon Wolfe, Ph.D.
