Product Description

"Cherry Wine" is a song that evokes a sense of airiness and delicate transcendence. This arrangement aims to recreate that.

This arrangement gives every instrument in a string quartet a portion to shine through. The melody is passed to every section (including the lower parts!), supported by intricate and flowing harmonies. It is sufficiently complex to provide good technical challenges for those that are more musically proficient, but not too much to deter less experienced players to play.

This piece is in transposed up to D (from D) major to make it more approachable. Contains score and parts.

Arranger's Note: The original song possesses a sombre theme, albeit its apparent tranquillity. While its ambience makes it ideal for occasions like church services, receptions, gigs and the like, and even more amateur settings, please take serious note of these undertones should it be performed publicly.
