This is a solo viola piece in the style of a Hora.  It is inspired by the ancient Jewish dances around a pillar in honor of the Goddess Asherah.  This piece is for the intermediate to advanced viola player as it has advanced keys, high notes, and many accidentals.  It was written in 1992 and premiered at Arizona State University, Tempe.
