Product Description
Lyrics: Cindy Ovokaitys
This interesting, jazzy a cappella work
follows the typical jazz chord and harmonies like many "barbershop choral works" for ensemble. After the basic sketch of the
melody and structure, this piece was handed to the lyricist, Cindy Ovokaitys
and after her extensive work, the beautiful and funny text that fits extremely
well to the music was completed. Many scat words were determined after
extensive discussion between the lyricist and the composer. A sensitive
understanding of the jazz chords and hard shuffle rhythm are required for
better performance. The soli could sing the melodies greasily or oily for
better expression.
