Product Description
Petrichor is a Pentatonic Study for Treble Instrument and Piano. Any instrument with at least D4 - D6 in its range is capable of performing this piece, although instruments that play an octave above this range are acceptable as well.
Some suggested instruments: flute, piccolo, oboe, violin, trumpet, voice, marimba, vibraphone
This score is formatted for non-transposing instruments. Scores and parts for transposing instruments available by request.
Petrichor is somewhat simple harmonically, utilizing only 5 different notes at a time. Modulation to a different key is achieved by changing only 1 of the 5 original notes. The treble instrument part is perfect for early intermediate performers (depending on the instrument they play), while the piano may be a bit more difficult. This piece is great for student/teacher duets.
