Product Description
Souvenirs de Bergamo is a tribute to the Italian composer Gaetano Donizetti, who was born in this wonderful city of Bergamo.
It is a virtuos piece for clarinet and piano, with some references to the italian opera style of the first half of the 19th century, mixed with some ironic "jazzy" chords.
This piece would be ideal as an encore for a recital, or as a part of a final exam of a conservatory, where the clarinet solo could show his skills. The piano part should be played by an experienced pianist.
This piece is my tribute to the great Italian opera world of the 19th century.
