Product Description

The piece contains four songs about birds. The first - "Alle fugler små de er" is a song translated from german (Alle Vögel sind schon da) by Johan Nicolaisen. The german lurics was written by Hoffmann von Fallersleben (17981874) ca. 1835, the melody is an old folksong. The comes a mixture of: "Jeg gikk en tur på stien" (original titel Kuckuck, Kuckuck, rufts aus dem Wald) and "Småsporven gjeng i tunet" (little sparrow in the yard) by the norwegian composer Catharinus Elling (1858-1942), The last birdsong - "Fløy en liten blåfugl" (a little bluebird flew) was a well known child's play the years after 2. world war.
