Product Description
On January 6th, 2021, there were people who stormed the United States Capitol at the insistence that
the previous election was stolen. This is not to comment on their political leanings; not at all. But rather,
the failings of a country, that such a violent and treasonous act was even made possible in the first place.
Five people died; some in the initial attack and two in suicides related to the trauma ofthe event. We came
even closer to many more in our politics losing their life, including the former vice-president.
And many people in the capital city, police included, did absolutely nothing.
If anything, to quote Joe Scarborough of MSNBC: "They opened the [expletive] doors for them!"
Performance notes:
The cello is deliberately playing the Star-Spangled Banner, notably in a way that represents intended resolve
and this false idea that you are a hero; but in your mind, you're doing something great -- whether for God,
country, Q, who knows? It should be detached and heroic as to say, "This is what I believe!"
The upper three parts are like this to represent the tension of the day; the danger of the event.
