This is a great chance to highlight the flute doubling skills of one of your sax players, as well as featuring prominent baritone sax, trombone and vibraphone roles. Lots of interesting dissonances throughout underpin the quirky nature of the theme, and presents a fresh new take on standard Big Band repertoire. Scored for 5 Saxes (AATTB, with flute in Alto 2 part), 4 trumpets, 4 trombones, Vibes, Piano, Bass, Drumkit and percussion (as well as an optional electric guitar part as substitute for vibes).
