Product Description

Bach's Wie schön leuchtet der Morgenstern was originally written for the organ, but I have expanded it out and adapted it for a recorder ensemble (SAATB+Cb) with an optional contrabass recorder. Organ music works really well for the recorder, since organ pipes are essentially the same instrument - but the recorder can be more expressive with it's use of air. Have a listen to what it sounds like!

This work is tricky, but is accessible enough for advanced school ensembles or experienced amateur ensembles who enjoy playing beautiful baroque music.
