Product Description
Distant Bells is a miniature piece for violin and piano. The music is deliberately designed for performance by amateur musicians. A haunting atmosphere is created in a sparse texture of pedal points, repetitive figures, open string pizzicatos, and filmic chord sequences. As the title suggests, several musical motifs depict bell tones, pealing from afar. The work is highly accessible for the listener and is appropriate for most standards of violinist and pianist, including amateurs, students and professionals. This PDF document is complete for performance, with full score (which both players could play from), and a violin part alone, if prefered by the violinist.
Duration: 3 minutes 30 seconds.
