Parts for the Brass Canon. As I describe in the score file, it's a musical canon, for brass. What else would I call it? It's for 4 horns, 3 trumpets, 3 trombones, euphonium, tuba and tympani (F2 to Ab3). It's just over two minutes long, but very contrapuntal and a challenge. But playable, with rehearsal. Take it a section at a time, and insiste the others listen. Every theme they play is echoed by others, so once they hear the tuba solo in the beginning, everyone should just copy it, in their own octave and key. LOTS of modulations. Again, they'll groan but they'll learn things.Enjoy.
