Those who are fond of Richard Strauss's and Korngold's music may also enjoy this piece, which is written in an extended tonal language that would fit right in with fin-de-siècle Vienna. It concludes the first work in my catalogue I consider worthy of having an opus number ascribed to it: my "Twenty Pieces for Piano" Op. 1.
