Easy Piano solo, duet, and trio (with teacher) written for beginning piano students. Inspired by the movement of turtles in the water. A delightful and fun piece for any piano studio or recital. Simple to play, yet melodic and musical.
MOVT 1: The Pond (For Two Handed Piano)
Each player performs a single line with two hands. For easy rhythms, no chords, and simple stepwise motion with minimal dynamics.
MOVT 2: Floating (Simple Piano Solo) Melodic simple piano solo for two hands. Right hand plays thirds and easy melody, the left hand plays a simple waltz. No chords. A delightful little composition.
MOVT 3: The Race (Piano Trio). Player 1 and 2 each have a single line that they perform. Part three is the teacher accompaniment. Very simple rhythms and melodies, with repetition.
