Sway-time is from a series of 24 piano pieces called The Emerging Pianist. It is for piano students ready to move from beginners stage and looking for something a little more challenging. There are two versions Sway-time, an Abridged version (single page) and a Full version (double page). The Abridged version could also be used by more advanced pianists for sight-reading practice. The rhythmic feel of this piece should be thought of as one-in-the-bar giving a swaying effect. The Full version has two contrasting section, organized into simple Ternary form A B A. The accompanying mp3 file is a demo version only.
