Some 10 years after his death, his widow entrusted Mr. Manilow with a lyric that Johnny had written and requested he write the music for it.
I think my arrangement has captured the feel of the melding of two disparate strains of musical creation.
I probably wouldn't perform this in contest; however, do it right and you'll get an 'oooooo' from your audience.
