Three Housman settings volume 11 was composed in 2017. They are part of a series of settings of Housman poems by David now numbering Three Volumes with another four volumes in the planning stage.
The poems set are White is the Moon the Long Road Lies, Think No More Lad Laugh Be Jolly,
and Because I liked you Better.

David has an ability to make complicated melodic lines that hint but do not venture into atonality, sound simple and beautiful.
