An early piece originally written for violin & piano. A lively dance with slower sections - 6 mins approx. The orchestration (1.2.0.2:2.0.0.0) is similar to many 18th Century symphonies and so the piece makes a striking contrast in a concert programme.   Copying of individual string parts for sole use by the purchaser is permitted.  A version for strings arranged by Ian Butterworth is also available.

Through his experience of teaching the violin at all levels and conducting youth orchestras over many years, Ian Butterworths large number of compositions and arrangements have been enjoyed by youth and amateur players.
