Welcome, My Angels is a slow, lush piece for treble voices incorporating modal harmonies and an increasingly growing ethereal piano part.

The text, also written by Asia Meirovich is a personal interpretation of the Jewish Sabbath song, Shalom Aleichem. In the traditional song angels are welcomed into ones home at the eve of the Sabbath, are asked for peace and a blessing and are blessed at their departure. There are four verses, each repeating twice.

The English text keeps the form of the eight verses, each two coincide closely with the original Hebrew text. In this interpretation phrases come back in a different order, creating a new context and shedding a new light as the piece goes on.
