This set of pieces was inspired by three separate encounters with fiddle music and beautiful scenery in the Shenandoah River Valley. There is narration in the recordings that tells the sweet story of how a young couple meet. River of Remembrances is in 3/4 time and carries throughout snatches of the previous 4 pieces woven within its own theme. This represents the couple 20 years later recounting the beginning of their special journey together.
