Subtitled "Wie 'Blues' wir tun's!" this chorale prelude for organ is basically in the style of Buxtehude--but with gospel harmonies, blue notes, and syncopations! The cantus firmus is in the soprano, richly ornamented, and the three lower parts accompany it with imitative counterpoint based on motives from the chorale melody.

The audio sample is a score playback, but with an oboe solo and an orchestral cello section standing (or rather sitting) in for stopped diapasons!
