This piece for mixed chorus and piano was inspired by the composer's and poet's visit to the ocean at Seacliff State Beach, Aptos, California. The beautiful, lush, harmonies in the choral part captures the many moods of the ocean while the piano accompaniment paints a picture of the rolling surf, crashing waves and soaring petrels. This piece is certain to thrill concert audiences at schools, colleges and Community Choruses. Duration - 5 minutes.
