Product Description
Although reasonably successful in his native Austria, Franz
Schubert (1797 1828) achieved widespread recognition only after his death,
when a number of influential 19th Century composers including
Mendelssohn, Schumann, Brahms and Dvorak discovered and championed his
writing.
Schuberts
output was considerable and covered many genres, including vocal works, symphonies,
incidental music, opera, chamber music and items for keyboard. This Moment Musical is taken from a set of 6
short piano pieces it is number three in the collection.
This arrangement for intermediate-level duo of B-flat clarinet and bassoon makes a charming addition to either a recital programme, or to general repertoire.
