Product Description

El roble y el ombú (The Oak and Embú Evergreen) is a traditional "zortziko" (5/8 dance rhythm of the Basque country) "vidalita" (a sad, romantic, popular song usually accompanied by the guitar), sung by choirs on both sides of the Atlantic, in which freedom is sung and the nostalgia for Basque emigration in those lands are recounted. The lyrics were penned by Bilboa-born journalist Felix Bilboa Garci-Arcélus (himself an emigrant to Argentina).  This arrangement is for 4-part SATB ensemble with piano accompaniment.  Performance time: 2:32. The lyrics are in Spanish.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
