Golden Days, from The Student Prince (!924) by Hungarian-born American composer Sigmund Romberg is a sentimental remembrance by Doctor Engel as he relives his youth while instructing the young Prince. In the mind of the audience, Golden Days stands alone, for it harkens back to wistful days of earlier times. It is a perfect ensemble piece for a program of music from the Golden Age of Operetta, or a retrospective of nostalgic tunes, an out-door concert, or a community engagement run-out program.  This arrangement is for a 4-part SATB ensemble with piano accompaniment.
