Product Description

This popular Neapolitan song was composed in 1880 for the opening of the funicular railroad - that cabled cars up Mount Vesuvius. It instantly became a hit on the streets of Naples and soon spread around the world.  This arrangement uses both the original Italian text and the traditional English words, making it an excellent study in Italian pronunciation and good English diction - probably well suited for Italian Immersion school programs.  It is scored for 4-part SATB chorus and piano.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
