Product Description

Leise rieselt der Schnee is a popular childrens Weihnachtslied. However, in this arrangement, cheekily translated as Let It Snow But Quietly, the well-known melody in 6/8 time is presented in 4/4 time with a soul treatment. Other German Christmas tunes have also been worked into this medium-difficulty big band chart. Even those unfamiliar with the German originals will I hope be able to enjoy the holiday season spirit conveyed with the obligatory sleigh bells!
Percussion is optional apart from the sleigh bells (which are cued in the Drums part).
Solos are indicated in 1st Alto Saxophone, 1st Tenor Saxophone, 2nd Trumpet, 2nd Trombone, Guitar, and Piano
At the end of the piece, let the bass, piano, and guitar sounds simply decay until just the sleigh bells are left, as the player walks off stage. Only when the sleigh bells can no longer be heard is this piece over!
