I have had to take several long breaks in my own playing and have always struggled with finding a healthy and encouraging way to come back to the horn that decreases risk of possible injury from over working the muscles. After extensive testing and real world application I present "Re-entry: A warm-up for those returning after an extended break". This warm-up provides a way to come back to the horn in a way that doesn't diminish the skill you had previously but also does not present a risk to the players muscles after a period without "working out"
