Summertime is an aria from the opera Porgy and Bess. The music was composed by George Gershwin in 1935. The melody spread rapidly and is now considered one of the most famous jazz standards.

I originally wrote this version for a Saxophone Trio with the lineup ATB. However, the first part can also be played using a Soprano Saxophone (STB). The third part works well with a Bass Saxophone.
