Product Description

This Civil War Era tune was played as a dance called a "Cake Walk." The hammer dulcimer arrangement is appropriate for Beginner 2 or Novice level players and includes a "bare bones" melody then embellishments are added to make an exciting arrangement for Intermediate to Advanced players. Guitar chords are included. It can be used in a historical setting for reenactment performances, but is a great piece for all general audiences. Audiences of school children will appreciate the historical setting. Follow Peggy's Dulcimer Friends on Facebook or contact Peggy at dulcipeg@gmail.com for questions or suggestions.
