Product Description
'Orison' is an emotional chorale for Marimba. The piece is 5 minutes long and well suited for an intermediate student who wants to improve rolling technique and musicality, or for an advanced player looking for a calm but determined chorale piece for a recital or church service.
The feeling I tried to
depict when writing 'Orison' can be caused by many things: An open door,
a relieving prayer, an overwhelming sunrise, the warm feeling swelling
up inside when someone loves you back. It's a transition from here to
there, and only you know what was lost and gained on that trip. But it's
not only one thing. It's all the things that made you happy, after a
long time, after losing all hope perhaps.
