The beautiful melody of this hymn is brought to life by the warm tone of the viola in the low register.  All three verses of the hymn are presented, first by the viola, then by the piano left hand, and finally, after a key change from F to G, the viola resumes the melody for a powerful and poignant finish.  This arrangement is approximately three minutes in length and is suitable for intermediate level violists.
