Product Description
1.5 minutes
SATB encouraging and motivating song.
From musical point of view it combines rhythm
and melody, applying vertical chords only when the text is highlighted (connected for sure with the text). From
religious feeling point of view, it has three parts based on three different
stages of motivation and hope.
About
programs to be included it is suitable for a concert for starting to calm the
choir and the public, advising about what is going to happen during the concert. It is also possible (and highly reccomended) to sing in church services, for a peaceful moment, proper of Ave Verum text.
Due to the
non vertical chords, and to a answer / question music, it is suitable also for
High School Choir. Difficulty level is not high because it is no pure contrapunto.
A
suggestion for practise would be to read the text many times, to understand it
perfectly. After that, ATB combination, as answer, should be studied. The last is to balance S and ATB.
