This 4-minute lament is a threnody for past, present, and - unfortunately - future victims of COVID19, for solo piano. The music is based upon an ever-evolving ostinato left-hand figure, the piece ending with the music ascending to the upper register of the piano in an expression of compassion and hope for the future.
