Product Description

This piece was begun shortly after the death of Marilyn Nichols, librarian and wife of Kenneth Nichols, composition professor at Brandon University.
Intended as the last movement of a Requiem, it should be performable by amateur groups and church choirs. The piano interlude is taken from the Gregorian Chant of the In Paradisum from Requiem Mass.
The tone of this movement is one of rest - the final peace after the cares of earth have passed. Keep things unhurried and ethereal.
In Paradisum was premiered on Sunday, March 18, 1990 at St. Matthews Cathedral by the Brandon University Chorale, Earl Davey, conductor.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
