Product Description
Arranged with a high school beginner guitar class in mind, this arrangement was designed to help developing players practice moving horizontally up and down the neck of the guitar, learning new ways to play some of the notes they already know in first position. With a few exceptions, the entirety of the guitar parts 1, 2, 3, and 4 work well played on a single string (Guitar 1 on the first string, Guitar 2 on the second string, etc). From m. 5-11, Guitar 2 should play on the first string as this part is unison with Guitar 1. From m. 21-27, the Guitar 3 & 4 parts are easiest played on the second and thirds strings in first position. From m. 53-59, Guitar 1 is easiest played using the second string in order to maintain positional playing.
Full set includes a "Cheat Sheet" with TABS helping players to interpret what they see in their parts.
Drum part is not written, but a simple swing groove will work well.
