Gabrieli's canzon for four voices is arranged by a hornist for horn quartet. Dynamics guide the ensemble to balanced playing, bringing out the motifs as they enter. The 4th horn part includes both bass and treble clef parts for ease of reading. This is a challenging piece for advanced intermediate players and is an excellent selection to use to take a horn choir to the next level of musicianship.
